“All on 4” (also, All-on-4 or All-on-Four) refers to a tooth replacement method involving using at least four dental implants. It may be appropriate for patients with many missing or failing teeth. The implants themselves are designed to function like tooth roots. These cylindrical-shaped posts are made from titanium or zirconia, materials that are compatible with natural tissues. This allows the  implants to naturally and safely connect to the surrounding tissue. In this case, the bone grows into the implant, allowing it to become a part of the jawbone. Then, the implant can provide a strong foundation for the restoration that is attached later.    

Dr. Aguilar can place as few as four implants in the jaw to support all teeth in the dental arch. These prosthetic teeth would be part of an upper or lower denture. The denture is connected to the implants with specialized attachments. 

Dr. Aguilar has the training and experience to surgically place these implants in a way that maximizes the available bone. This novel design helps to:

• Minimize the treatment cost 
• Avoid the need for bone grafting 
• Treat patients with bone loss who would not be candidates for grafting and other techniques to build up and prepare the jawbone 
• Maintain a less invasive and more conservative treatment process and option
