No. 1: No preparation

Typical veneers require the removal of some natural tooth enamel. This outermost covering protects our teeth. With standard treatment, the veneers would stick out too much or otherwise not fit properly if all of the enamel remained intact. Our approach is different. We use “no-prep” veneers, better known by their brand name of Lumineers®. They are thinner than your typical veneers, which means very little to no enamel needs to be removed while preparing your veneers. The result still looks and feels natural due to the thinness of the veneer.

Any time that enamel is altered in some way, there is a risk of tooth sensitivity and discomfort. Discomfort or sensitivity is avoided since we preserve the tooth and keep it fully intact. Veneers would require at least two visits to other dental practices in Manchester, GA, and beyond.
